Common questions
How do I invite someone to a trip?
Open the trip → tap the share icon at the top right → "Generate invite code". Send the 6-character code to anyone with the app installed. They tap + → Join with code and paste it in.
The AI generate button says "requires Apple Intelligence"
The Foundation Models framework runs only on devices with the A17 Pro chip or M-series Apple silicon, with Apple Intelligence enabled in Settings → Apple Intelligence & Siri. iPhone 15 Pro / 15 Pro Max / 16 / 16 Pro / 17 / 17 Pro / 17 Pro Max all qualify; earlier iPhones don't. You can still create and edit trips by hand on any iOS-26-capable device.
How do I change the trip's currency?
Inside the trip → top-right gear icon → Trip settings → Currency. Tap "Refresh from Frankfurter" to pull the latest FX rate, or type any rate manually. The rate applies retroactively to every expense in the trip.
Can I delete my account?

We purge your /users/{uid} document and all your
trips manually. Anonymous accounts are tied to the device and
go away when you delete the app.
Does Bonvoyage cost anything?
No. Bonvoyage is free, with no ads and no analytics. The Settings tab has an optional tip jar via Stripe — every feature is available to every user regardless of whether they tip.
What happens if I lose my internet during a trip?
Firestore caches your trip on the device, so the itinerary, map, and expenses keep working offline. Changes you make are queued and synced the next time the device gets a connection.
